Care Net is a national syndicate of anti-abortion pregnancy centers that use deceptive, manipulative practices to shame Floridians out of getting birth control and abortion care, diverting people from accessing comprehensive and timely care from licensed medical providers.
By hosting a “pro-life” conference during COVID-19 in Orlando and inviting 1,300 people from across the nation to assemble indoors, the Care Net Conference is putting Floridians at risk.
This is anti-health care and anti-science.
Did you know 196 anti-abortion pregnancy centers operate in Florida?
They like to be called “crisis pregnancy centers” but have earned the name “fake clinics” as they often disguise themselves as legitimate reproductive health care facilities.
And guess what? These anti-abortion pregnancy centers receive $4 million a year in taxpayer dollars—funding enacted into law by anti-abortion extremists in the Florida Legislature in 2018.
Anti-abortion pregnancy centers undermine the health of Floridians. And it’s time to call them out.
We are fighting for equal and safe access to a full range of reproductive health care, including abortion. Join our movement today!
